Default 323 Stalls when hot

Hi all I recently purchased a 323 Astina 1.6 2000 model and in one week it has broken down 3 times.

It has had the crank angle sensor, fuel pump, fuel filter and the MAF replaced and is still stalling intermittently.
Drives fine but have noticed when it stalls it's either when stopped at lights or when driving slowly and it's normally a hot day. The temp guage doesn't increase. When it stalls it won't start until i let it sit for at least another 5 to 10 minutes.
The previous owner had the crank angle sensor replaced and i noticed on the Auto electricians receipt it had written fuel pressure unsteady.

My mechanic has told me without it breaking down for him he isn't sure what to check.
I'm not mechanically savvy and as this car was used for work transporting elderly people with dementia it's effecting my job.
Please help.

Hi Cazoom. Any luck with this problem? I have the same car with the same issue. New fuel pump and filter; new crank pos. sensor; it runs perfectly except for the occasional stoppage for ten minutes or so. It is driving me nuts!

That is great, it is one of the few things I havent tested apart from disconnecting it and seeing that the engine stopped. I'll order one soonest!

Cam sensors are very common on these old cars.

Eureka... got a new sensor today, fitted it and in the process found that the old one was cracked and some of the plastic inside was leaking out. I guess you could say the odds were good that it was on the way out. Car runs perfectly and starts easily when hot which it wasnt doing before.
Thanks for your post on this topic cazoom, my bacon has been saved!!
