I recently traded in my Pro5 on a newer vehicle for my wife and I bought myself a 1989 323 HB 4 spd manual as a fun project learn how to work on cars more sort of vehicle.

I drove the new/old car for 2 days with no issues. On the third day I tried to start it and no luck. The car turns over but then doesn't start. It is has fuel, the spark plugs, wires, distributor, cap and rotor, and coil all seem to be functioning and producing a spark (checked by holding each one against something grounded to see spark). Took hose off fuel filter and fuel sprayed out when cranked...not sure what is going on...any advice?
