Default Tow package

Hi, new to the forum. I just bought a 2011 cx-7 Touring Wagon. How can I tell if this model came with the factory tow package? I see that there are two different harnesses you can buy depending of the the factory option. Thank you for your help.

The factory tow package is just a connector that you can plug into for your trailer lights. if you don't have it, the project is much more involved.

My experience on CX-7s from New Zealand & Australia is they all have the wiring plug in the rear 1/4 panel. I just read our instruction guide & it does mention some not having the plug, & to use jumper harness part #0000-8E-M03 to connect the trailer wiring harness part number #0000-8E-M04. These maybe the two part numbers.

Could be totally different from my RH drive region to your LH drive region.
