Tow Bar and Electrics

Tow Bar and Electrics
Hi,
does anyone out there have any knowledge or experience of fitting towing electrics to a 5? The towbar itself is very straightforward, but I cannot see where the electrical interface is, or even where to find the existing loom. Is it a plug, or do you have to wire into the existing loom?
Appreciate any pointers.

RE: Tow Bar and Electrics
I got the local towbar palce to fit mine, they were pretty worried about doing it as its a can based system. It works fine however and cost about £100 all in to fit - well wort the money I thought. Oh yes and you have to move the fog light.

cheers for the answer. but events overtook me and I wound up getting a Mazda bar fitted. Quite expensive, but I too was concerned about the electrics! Nice job though, and shopping around between local dealers saved me £80

Hi, I had the Mazda removable towbar fitted when I bought the car. It is one of the best removable ones I have used.
I also think the double foglight looks so much better than the standard central single one.
