Tachometer help

Default Tachometer help

i have a 94 mazda 626 4 cyl. i recently bought a sunpro 5in tach with shift light but i cant find the ignition coil, where would i hook that up, directions for the tach say to go to the ignition coil, has anyone else put an aftermarket tach in their 626 that could help me out?

The coil is inside the distributor. The green wire is for the tach.

now do i have to take apart my distributor or is there a way i can connect that wire without taking apart my distributor, there are a couple of wire harnesses that plug into it, is that green wire one of them?

There will be a green wire going to the distributor you can connect to.
