greeting mazda protege lovers

i am the proud owner of a 1991 protege with 215,000 miles!

my issue is that the drivers side automatic harness no longer moves to the back position where the seat belt is correctly secure across your body. it moves halfway and stops which basically means it will not save me in a crash.

i just pulled out the whole harness assembly (trak,small moter etc) from a 1992 protege 323 @ pick n pull

my question is if the one year difference means they are not compatible (yes i know i can compare but trying to save money before i buy it).

2nd question: where can i disconnect my horn (it started going off at night!)? the horn is impossible to get to and i cannot leave the light fuse out which also controls the horn. any suggestions?
