Peeling rims

Hi. I'm new here.

My 17" rims on my '02 MPV are starting to peel/bubble.

Is there any way (other than refinishing obviously) to repair or slow down the process?

you did'nt say if the finish was chrome or paint/clear coat,but if its paint, repaint. if its chrome, buy new wheels

They're painted for sure. Looks like a job for silver touch up paint. And then get them professionally re-done sometime in the future.
