oxygen sensor
Hi there, Ok to firstly have you got any D.T.C,s ie fault codes , if so it should tell you which bank the faulty o2 sensor is on , ie Bank 1 will be cylinders 1-3 and bank 2 cylinders 4-6.
Using left and right can sometimes be confusing as each v6 left or right is different , the best way to locate the o2 sensor is to follow the exhaust the first sensor you see will be the front (upstream) sensor is your vehicle V6? if so you will have two o2 sensors by saying left i assume it will be the sensor from the left hand side so you will need to locate the top o2 sensor from the left hand exhaust manifold, i would recommend you get a Diagnostic read out then that way i can give you 100% correct information , im pretty sure its on the left hand side of the engine but without a print out or bank number it will be a educated guess . Give it a try and if its correct let me know if not then its the other side.
