I don't think there is a way to make this long story short....
typical, twice wouldn't start in park but did in neutral, started perfectly most of the time. Going up a hill it jerked and the AT light flashes. That night it jerked hard in reverse and the AT and E light came on... Code U0101 tcm communication....

replaced the NSS, nothing. Won't start... The nubs on the inside were gone when we took it off, pulled the fuses for the eci and tcm and put the old switch back in. The lights went out and all was the same...but Not reading park and no warning lights.

next we put in another new one. Nothing.... Put the old one back in. No shifter lights but it started...and ALL gears are drive.

now it won't start with either. We did move the shaft that come out of the transmission in an attempt to see if that was misaligned.

We're so lost and can't find anything like out situation.
