Need Help with Tail lights
Hey guys I am also new to this forum.
I tried to exchange one of the rear signal bulbs and it fell into the case, no way of getting it out.
I have to take the whole rear light out and try to get it out somehow.
Has anyone taken the rear light out yet? I need some how to's and some tips & tricks.
I have a 2007 Mazda3 GT.
PLEASE HELP!!!!

There are just a couple of nuts that are behind the carpet closeout panel (open the trunk and pull the carpet out...I have a sedan, not sure what the 5-door has, probably a plastic trim panel with an access door.
Take out the (2) nuts and the taillight should pop out.

Hey Thanks.
Mine is a Sedan as well.
The plastic trim in the trunk (just along the back where the trunk closes), does it pop off?
Should I be pulling up, or towards the inside of the trunk. - I just dont want to break any plastic pins.

There are a couple of push pins near the trunk latch, and I believe (2) push-pins on each side of the trunk (they would point towards the back of the vehicle. 1 top/1 bottom on each side.
Once those push pins are out, the panel should pop out fairly easily.
Check to see if you can pull out the carpet on the sides without removing the rear trunk trim, you may be able to access the nuts without removing that piece.

Im all done!
wasnt bad bad at all...took me maybe 25min. I did not have to remove that plastic molding, just careful bend the carpet. Removed the 2 nuts and out she came.
Thanks for all your help guys.
If anyone is wondering why I was fumbling around on a brand new tail light. I replaced the factory incandecent amber turning light with aclearbulb, that when ON, shines amber. Now the whole tail light is clear and white. Looks good!
Cheers,
Dennis
