Need advice
Car is 121 December 89.
Odometer: 420,000 Kms
Motor B3 1.3L
Died on me like if I turned off the ignition.
There is some spark between at the output of the coil but the spark at the spark plug connections seems very weak.
-Changed the distributor cap and distributor rotor.
-Checked that fuel pump is delivering fuel at the carburetor.
- Battery voltage: 12.4 Volts (When switch off)
I'll try today to change the ignition module and ignition coil.
How can I check if the hall effect pick up is working fine?
(I do have a scope and digital multimeter)
A mechanic told me that the distributor has wear out.
I didn't find any mechanical play.. How can I check this (pretty expensive part even as a reconditionned one)..
