I have a silver Mazda 3, 5 door, hatch back w/ tinted windows. I am about to replace my stock wheels with some new aftermarket wheels. I cannot decide between 17 inch or 18 inch. I don't want them to look too big, but not too small either.... The stock wheels have a 'big' look about them since the spokes go to the outside. But I fear that if I buy some wheels where the spokes go to the inside, that the 17s will look too small. Also, I cannot decide between a 5 or 6 spoke that exposes alot or a wheel w/ many more spokes. I don't want to go too wild because it is just a stock Mazda 3. Here are some that I like: Tenzo Passion-5 and Tenzo Shu-10. Also like Motegi MR4 style (the actual wheels are discontinued but the model will give you an idea). Are these styles too radical for a stock Mazda 3? Will 18s ride rough or be too big?

Maybe these pics of my Mazda will help you decide,..these are 18in. rims, on a stock ride height. Just becareful of the back spacing when buying rims..you don't want your car to look like a roller skate.

thanks - this photo does help - not only w/ rim size, but also with deciding on rim style. your wheels are similar to one of the styles that i have had in mind. thanks
