1998 323 locked radio
I too have a 1998 [NZ new] 323 GLXi and got the err[or] message after inputting the [apparently] incorrect code that was written in the hand book.
Your method restored my unit saving me installing a non std unit, something i didnt want to do as the vehicle is quite original.

I have a Mazda Drifter 2004 model, I would like to know how can I unlock my radio to put in the code. (Mazda 6500 radio)

121 Metro DW10*2 > 203028, MX5 NB30P2, Milennia,323 BJ10*2, 626 GF10S2, Tribute. Step one:- press one at a time- preset 6, AM, Auto M, Seek ^ (up). Step Two:-Input this number, 4989. Step Three:- Press and hold Auto M and Preset 6 together. Step Four:- The Word 'GOOD' will appear on the screen indicated that the radio will work. Step Five:- Reprogram new Antitheft code into radio as per instrution manual.

2003 Mazda Tribute err radio code
Hi,
I changed the battery in my 2003 Mazda Tribute and I have tried a few radio codes and they havent worked. This is what I have done.
Put my car in Acc
pressed 6,AM, AUTO-M, seek up
entered all the following codes and none worked
4989
1212
1414
3511
still no luck my radio is still flashing err
i have also entered 2003, 0000, 1111, 2222 and still no luck.
can anyone please help please ?
