Mazda 3 2.0D DPF Issues
Hi All
First post for me on here. I seem to be having several problems with my Mazda 3 2.0D and in particular the DPF.
I have a 2008 TS2 still under warranty. Due to earlier problems I have fortunately just had the temperature sensor in the exhaust changed, the DPF sensor and the DPF replaced under warranty (saving me circa £2k in the process).
Less than 2 weeks after gettng the car back (the dealership had it nearly 2 weeks) the DPF light began to flash again and then the Engine Check Light and the DSC light came on and the car went into protective mode. Took it back to the dealer who carried out a regen and two test drives whilst carrying out checks which apparently solved the problem.
3 days following the regen the DPF light began flashing again. Took it back to the dealer who told me it was only because it was due a service and the oil level was high (investigation bill came to me). One week later the DPf has appeared again and the following day protective mode kicked in and now the engine check light and DSC light is on again.
Is this just because it is due a service or is there something else wrong the dealer isn't picking up when it is plugged-in? I have read elsewhere rumours of injector re-formatting?
