Istop fault. Mazda 3 2.0 mar disi 2010
So, I have a mazda 3 2.0 mzr disi 2010. Since I brought the car a month ago I've had the istop light flashing amber on my dashboard.
I did some research and found that it was a battery issue. Therefore, I changed the battery to a lion EFB 158 start/stop battery ( https://www.eurocarparts.com/p/lion-efb-158-car-battery-3-year-guarantee-444779341 ). With that still not solving the problem I took it to a garage which then reset the battery counter and coded in the battery (from what he said).
This got ride of the flashing light until I come to a stop, the system worked once then went back to flashing amber as before.
Has anyone else had similar issues?
for this system to work, am I going to have to change the other battery?
do you guys have any reccomendations on what battery to buy?
Thanks in advance

Also, could you attach a link with the right battery on please.
Thanks
How many batteries does your car have?
All New Zealand new or Australian new BL Mazda 3's with i-stop have one x Q85 battery.
I've seen a Japanese used import BL with i-stop, that had two batteries, hence why I ask.

In that case, you should contact Mazda and find out the required specs of your two batteries.
The two batteries are utilized for different purposes.
Was your car sold new in the UK? or is it a used import?
