Default Instrument Light Colors

I seem to remember reading on the forum that the color of the instrument lights can be changed rather easilly. Does anyone remember how to do this, or can you point me to the place where I can find the information? Thanks-Ray

this option is only for the 's' model 3...its a button just like the odometer button that toggles between TRIP A and TRIP B, except its located on the opposite side of the guages.

wonder why the other "s" models such as the 6 don't have that option (maybe mazda thought it wasn't a wise investment). too costly to manufacture

yeah. most likely. on the 's' models, the instument cluster lighted by electo-luminescense (the face of the cluster is actually a screen being projected onto), and on the 'i' models, everything is already on the guage face.

Sorry, I should have said that I have a Grand Touring S model 5 door, so I do have the dimmer buttom to the left of the trip meter selector, as well as the gauges that go to blue when the headlights are turned on.

Maybe what I read (months ago) was exactly what you described, although I thought the post referred to changing the "base color" from Red to some other color. I may have misunderstood the original message. Thanks for the reply.
