Default HELP! 97 B2300 Issue! Mystery need help!

Hello Everyone,

Need ur help in worse way. First day and post here so I'm hoping someone can help me out in worse way.

I own a 1997 Mazda b2300 2.3l automatic 2wd single cab truck. Original motor and tranny truck has 492,533 original miles on it and this is first major issue I'm having.
i can go outside right now, crank it up no problem, idles fine, but the moment I put my truck in N,D,1,2 it will completely clunk out and go dead. BUT I can put it in reverse and drive backwards all day long no issue. That's not all. At any point in time if u hit the brakes while ur in any gear or put it in any gear, it'll go dead. I jacked up rear end and repeated theses same steps but while the rear end is off ground I can put it in any gear and it will stay running, tires spin and all, but it'll go dead still if u hit brakes in any gear even will rear end off ground. But that's still not all. I can go outside right now and pull a fuse under the hood, crank truck and drive the truck like it's a stick shift and change gear manually and it drives fine but the moment u need to hit the brakes it'll clunk out and die as any other time.
I'm totally screwed without my truck and need some help so please any info would greatly be appreciated this is only vehicle we own and I need it everyday 12 hrs a day so I'm hoping someone can help me, thank you in advance!
