Headlights fail / '06 Mazda 5 / Suggestions?
Hi all!
Money is super tight right now, so I can't take it to get looked at. I'm hoping someone else may have some insight.
My headlights are brand new as of about 6 months ago. One evening, they just didn't come on, both of them. My parking lights, and high beams work. So, my first instinct was to check the fuses, all of which are fine. Then the relays, also fine.
Anyone else have a similar situation? Have any suggestions for at home troubleshooting?
Thanks in advance for any and all replies!

Have you checked to make sure when you switch the head lights to 'ON' you are getting a live and earth feed at the bulb? If you are then it looks like it could just be a bulb blown. Are they high intensity discharge headlight bulbs? if so DO NOT try to check the feed if there is a sticker on the lamp unit indicating DANGER then do not try to attempt a voltage inspection doing so could result in injury or even be fatal.
