Engine Check Light
Got a Miata 10thAnniv Ed, Standard with a check eng light on.
The error code is PO705 Range Sensor A, PRNDLR
Odd code to get (for an automatic) on a standard transmission.
Anyone have any ideas?

that same code for the manual trans is for the clutch switch (the small one located in the pedal assembly, not the starter interlock switch on the firewall)
p0705 neutral switch circut malfunction.
most likely the spring inside the switch failed. remove it and inspect continuity while pressing and releasing the plunger.
