Default 93 Mazda MX-6 V6 Won't Start

I have a 1993 Mazda MX-6 with a V6 motor. I was driving it home and it shut off, unable to restart it. It will start every once in awhile and run for a minute and shut back off again. I had the distributor replaced 2 years ago. Can Anyone help me?

Sounds like the distributor. I have the same car. It did the same thing at about 50K miles. This is a known issue with that year MX-6. On some, once it cools off it will restart and run for a little while. Did you replace with a used distributor last time? You may have got one with the same issue. I have heard you can repair just the part of the distributor that is bad instead of buying a new one which is very expensive. MX-6.com may have some more info on this - worth a try. Good luck.

there are lots of things to look at when car won't start. here are some of the possible causes: No fuel pressure. it might be bad fuel pump relay. Can you hear the pump running? or no ignition spark, - it could be a bad coil. DME problem or bad mercedes rotor arm. try also looking at dirty connections, clean everything. try to check all your mazda truck parts, then update us regarding this matter.
