Default 323 speed alert chime

Hi a recently purchased a 1988 323. It is a fantastic little car but it has a really annoying chime that sounds when i travelled at or over 105 mk/h.

Does anyone know how to de-active this chime?

Don't know which system is causing the chime but it could be the seatbelt retractor chime. Try pulling on the seat belt when it does it.

Another quick way to eliminate the "phantom passenger syndrome" due to seat belt circuit problems is to just fasten all the seat belts in the car, test, and see if it has stopped the problem.
