2019 Cx-5 GT Not Recognizing iPhone for Apple CarPlay
Hi all. I just purchased a used 2019 GT CX5 last week. At the time of the test drive I did not think to bring a usb to test the Apple CarPlay. I knew it had the CarPlay option from seeing on the screen so I was fine. Plus, I just utilized the Bluetooth connection.
Fast forward a week later, I finally decided to plug in my phone via usb using the first slot with the phone symbol. My iPhone charges, but the CarPlay is still greyed out. I’ve tested 3 iPhones, 3 phone cables (certified and Apple original), and I’ve also factory reset the car settings and restarted my phone.
Can anyone give me advice on what else I can do?
