2002 protege5 turbo question

I have seen people with there mafs by the throtal and others down by the turbo . So does it matter where it is or make a diffrence?

It does matter if you have a blow off valve. If you recirculate pressure, you don't really need to move the MAF. If you have a BOV, you need to move the MAF to be after it in the order of air-flow.

to be after my blowoff right now I have it on the front of the turboafter the filter.
