HELP WITH SPEAKERS
I TRIED TO RE-WIRE MY SPEAKERS TO GET RID OF EXCESS WIRES.....MY SPEAKERS WORK WHEN I PLUG THEM INTO MY HOUSE STEREO, BUT WHEN I HOOK THEM UP IN THE CAR THEY DONT MAKE ANY SOUNDS. HOW DO I FIX THIS???
Check the wires to make sure they are A) going to the head unit, B)attached securly to the speakers
A way to test this is to take a watch battery and hook it up to the wires at the head unit. If it pops the speaker then you know the wires are running correctly.
If your speakers are hooked up correctly, check your Head unit to see if it's not faded to the rear. should be 0 balance, 0 fade, 0 bass, 0 trebble and set the volume to something you can hear.
I'm guessing it's the wires to the speakers that aren't hooked up right.

get an amp for your door speakers. get a muticonnecting piece then send one set of patch cords to the amp for speakers and other to the sub amp...use on mid or high range..should project pretty good sound.
