Hi all ,
I would like to install a new head unit (Kenwood dmx1025BT) in my 2007 tribute ,I am confused on the wiring for the steering wheel controls.
I have included a photo of the 2 original connectors also the wiring pin out for the 16 pin connector .my question is which wire do i need to connect to make the steering wheel
controls work . Is the 2nd plug in photo for these controls ??

the 16 pin is for the power and speakers but the 4 pin plug what is this for ?

This is the wiring for the 16 pin plug but in the manual is no mention for that 2nd plug ?

I would really appreciate help on getting this to work with the head unit listed above.
