Default 2006 Mazda Tribute System Upgrade

Greets,

My girlfriend has a 2006 Mazda Tribute with the "premium" sound system. I was thinking about doing something nice by swapping out her head unit, putting some component speakers up front powered by one of my spare amplifiers and possibly putting some JL Audio 10w3v2s that I am not using in the cargo area off of another amp.

I take it that this vehicle is like all other Ford/Mazdas with 6x8s in the doors, so I know how to deal with that. I guess my only questions are:

1. How strong is the electrical system on this vehicle? Weak alternator? Crappy battery?

2. How easy is it to remove the false cargo floor in the back where the spare tire "used to go"? I am planning on installing the amps under this area.

3. Should I decide not to put a big enclosure in the cargo area, how much room is there behind the panel where the factory 8" subwoofer is? If she decides not to forgo cargo space, I would like to keep her install as stealth as possible with the Head Unit being the only obvious change.

Regardless, I am going for sound quality with this install NOT banging, overpowering, bass
