Mazda tribute engine imobilisation system

Hi there,new member here.I have 2002 Mazda Tribute.Today I tried to start it and there was no reaction at all.I have the two original keys and neither of them worked.Any suggestions please?

Did you try to lock and unlock your drivers door with the key and then try it again

Thanks for your advice.I'd actually wrongly diagnosed the problem,turned out that it was a faulty starter motor.All fixed now thanks.
