Evening All,

Mazda noob here (not new to forums, just this one).

So my 14 yo son broke the wife's glovebox latch and now she is unable to open the glovebox. Of course it contains EVERYTHING (ie registration and insurance documents, the wheel lock "key", etc).

I'm a shade-tree mechanic and am DAMN handy with tools. However, this issue has me stumped. I've researched it via the net to include YouTube but haven't come up with anything effective in opening the darn little plastic box that holds much needed documents and such.

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS AS TO HOW I CAN GET IT OPENED? I'm absolutely positive that once opened I will HAVE to replace the latch mechanism so breaking it IS NOT an issue that concerns me.

Please advise soonest. Thank you in advance.
