hello fellow citizens of the board i was wondering if i drilled some holes in the air box before it reaches to air filter if that would give me a tad more horsepower. When it try to step on the gas it feels alittle restricted like something is choking it. I have a 1994 B3000 v6 3L all new spark plugs, spark plug wires, and master cylinder. If u have any ideas to improve my horsepower without any cost please share.

 

When is the last time the fuel filter was changed?

 

The sad thing is that nothing is for free, especially finding/making more power. Just remember the basics first. Properly inflated tires, clean air filter, all wires connected securely, and what hayfieldfarm said the fuel filter, you get what I mean. I have a 2003 B3000 with the 3.0l, it's not a power monster by no means. When the engine you're dealing with is rated at 154 horsepower, there ain't much to work with. A K&N air filter is nice, fresh plugs and wires, Magnaflow exhaust ($400). If you can do the work, make sure everything is working properly.
