New CX-5 owner
We just purchased a previously owned 2016 CX-5 Touring with 24K. So there is roughly 12K remaining on the bumper to bumper warranty. What is the cost of an extended bumper to bumper warranty. What fails on these cars? How reliable are the electronics? So far it is a great car.

Have no idea. I've owned 3 Mazdas and never even considered an extended warranty. They're that reliable! What fails on these cars? Not much! Mazda has been on an upward trajectory in reliability ratings scores for several years. My 2013 with 30k miles has never darkened the door of a dealer service dept. How reliable are the electronics? As good or better than other Japanese manufacturers. So far it is a great car. If I were in your shoes (and I have been) I would stay on top of things for the next year and report anything suspicious to get it on the record and be sure to have any problems you are aware of taken care of in a timely manner before the warranty clock runs out.
