Warped like a banana. 0.018” feeler gauge slides in the middle. Gonna have to try and straighten this before even thinking about shaving the head because the cam towers are gonna be warped too. (Which is partly why I’m thinking the cam bearings were toast)

Interesting wear on the valve stem tip. The picture makes it seem worse than it is, but I’m replacing all the valves regardless. Was able to find NOS on eBay and grabbed them up.

Hand ground valve stem tip?? No idea what’s going on here but it looks dressed with a hand grinder, and did not want to pass through the guide.

Hand ground valve stem tip?? I don’t even know what was going on here but it’s crooked and can be seen by the naked eye. It also did not want to pass through the guide.
