What do you wish MAZDA had included with your model
The only thing I wish my 3 came with was a 4 rotor bi turbo Renesis. Buuuut rotaries are not daily driver engines. But now on a more serious note honestly the only thing I wish it came with was proximity sensors front side and back. From what I gathered seems like Mazda isn’t a fan of them.
I have a 22 and to me the tach is yuuge. Everything in that instrument cluster screams at you imo. Tho it would be nice to have temp, tach, and mpg gauges in the HUD. But I’m just thrilled to have a hud to bits. ESP since the last time I saw a car HUD was on a tricked out top of the line Pontiac Bonneville and it was a eye burning fatiguing red monochrome. Tho until I got used to it seeing a red sign pop up in it makes you think there’s a problem. When it’s just telling you there’s a stop sign.

Gotta have my ULTRA GAUGE. I think I have had one in every vehicle I have one since 2000? I currently own 4 and a NIB back up unit.
The Y-OBDII cable with power on switches. This allows me to still have one unused OBDII diagnostic connector available as a low voltage power source or ECU access for other devices without having to unplug my Ultra Gauge. It also allows me to turn off the ULTRA GAUGE in the case of using other Diagnostic equipment or simply me not wanting to have it on at all.
'25 cx-5...more storage compartments or at least larger existing ones...more cargo floor area...more rear seat legroom...lose the piano black interior trim...side mirrors linked to seat memory...rear seat female seat buckles that extend out of the seat so kids can buckle themselves in easier...paddle shifters are great in the snow to slow down vs braking and easier to use while keeping hands on the wheel vs the manual mode gear shifter...will update as i find more things but liking the car so far
A chauffeur, for those few days I don't want to drive or want to go to the pub and have more than one beverage
Though I wouldn't say no to a turbo or supercharged 350+ horsepower 6 cylinder.
It would keep me from eyeballing the Porsche Macan S (348 - 434hp) or the Jaguar F-Pace 3.0L (395hp) or SVR 575 5L (567hp)

slide the side view mirrors to in front of the corner of the side windows like most other cars...move the gas filler to the passenger side (more pump availability)...make the sunglasses holder have a little more of a bottom so it can actually hold the glasses when open...more range (i.e. larger gas tank)
2025 Mazda CX-5 S Select here, purchased new less than two weeks ago. My first Mazda. I’m really liking this car, and the included features at this price level is awesome.
But indulging in some blue sky dreaming:
1. A convenient way in the user interface to turn off all telematics and the modem, not just Connected Services.
2. Hard to believe that such a nicely equipped car in 2025 does not include tire pressure monitoring that shows the pressure for each individual tire.
3. Like all modern vehicles, the outside temperature and the HVAC set temperature is prominently displayed. But no way to see the cabin temperature. HVAC has to know the cabin temperature to function, so why not show it?
[Edit to add] 4. Under the rear seat storage bins!
