Good to hear.

Now if you want to save even more money, and you're a homeowner with sufficient equity in your house, you can take out a home equity loan (rates are right around the 6.5-7% range now) to pay off your car, then you can write the interest off of your income taxes at the end of the year (dropping the effective interest rate to around 4.5-5%)

That's exactly what my fiance wants to do when we get a house. His truck costs him close to $700 a month. And I thought my payment was high!

I had a crappy experience as well... But we live and learn! When I bought my 6 the other day, the sales guy scratched it pulling it out of the show room, then when we went to get it after repairs they had me 1 key! 1 key? a cheap Kmart copy when I was actually told YES when I asked about keyless entry! Ugh... and they push that mazda certification on you like crack!

I bought my car in August 2007. Everything went smoothly and I was a happy customer. $14,000 down which means only 184 per month for 5 years. I was like k sweet. And so about a week later after I pick up the car, they are selling them for 0% purchase financing... FUUUUUUUUUCK. I am paying 3.9... that pisses me off to no end.
