My .02 cents is that even brand new an SRT-4 is 20-21k, while a new Speed3 is 23k. 2k can buy a suprisinglot in an SRT-4, whether you want suspension or power. I'd still rather drive a Mazda though, and I own an SRT.

Maybe a used SRT4 is 20K...Last time I saw they were more expensive than the Speed3...

No, a new 03 was 19,995 and a new 04 with LSD was 20,995. I got my 04 over a year ago with 3k miles for 16,000.

If you're talking abut a calibur SRT, there's no discussion. Speed3 will stomp it.

i don't care which one wins, it is just the sheer fact that dodge and mitsubishi are throw-away cars and the neon had the worst crash test ratings ever in the history of the IIHS. that would make me leary of any replacement that they have built for that car.

The matter of the fact is, the SRT-4, quite frankly, is such an uncool car. I mean look at those headlights! That spoiler is just embarrassing (I'm talking stock here, if you have a new body kit and rear spoiler, more power to ya!). You gotta have looks with speed. Hell, I'll take the .2 slower car if it looks better than the faster one. At least I know I can improve that .2 with upgrades!

Mazda Speed 3 in speed and looks, thank you very much.
