well u can get the right amount of sugar out of basically nething u eat. vitamin water is def a good source of vitamins, but its the sugar thats a main problem for her. she needs to cut that down as much as she can.
Not trying to be cruel here, but y'know, some people are simply not meant to be thin.judging from the pic you posted some time ago, I'd say that your body "type" runs in your family and further back, in your genes.
Trying too hard to lose weight you were meant to have could be unhealthy and /or frustrating.
But as VB put it, losing weight the right way takes time. My ex (girlfriend, common law wife, what ever you would call her) was thinner when I met her (125 lbs.) but rapidly gained weight to the tune of 60+ lbs. It took her 2 yrs to lose 50lbs of it the "right way," and she had to be verycareful to maintain it. It was not a pretty sight, believe me. She was meant to have some meat on her bones, but 185 was a bit much for her build.
I was a twig growing up until my senior year of highschool when i met my husband. so yeah...people in my family are overweight but i was never this way until i met him when he put me into a really depressed state.
even if it genetics, she can still lose a few pounds. i used to weigh 125 since 6th grade up to the end of high school... then i went up to 160.. im in the right body mass index range, but i need more muslce on my body and less fat.. she can definitely still try and wats the worst thats gonna happen?nothin.. she'll have more energy than before!!
