I believe they were Mark VIII's, but I'm no Lincoln aficionado either. I drive a Mazda....

You are correct virgin1....neat feature, but man it sure would suck when that complex mechanism eventually goes bad.

I sure do like the idea of not getting parked in and eliminating door dings from other ppls car doors though.

I sure do like the idea of not getting parked in and eliminating door dings from other ppls car doors though.
But it's a Lincoln, another problem would surface - the average driver would likely be too fat to squeeze between cars.

I don't think I'd have to worry about that. I'm 145-150lbs, highschool weight. But I also have no interest in owning a Lincoln either.

You might be surprised , my Buddies Lincoln LS is a pretty sweet car, handles like a dream and is pretty quick also.
