my clutch is sticking...like if i shift hard (which i do sometimes under normal driving) it will stick and i won't notice it til i smell it and it annoys me. and there's a flapping sound in my intake which only happens when i accelerate.

I had a similar thing happen to me in my old Datsun pick up. I was told that the return/relief valve was sticking or partially clogged w/dirt. I thought it was simpler than that and that is was the piston return spring getting weak. But either way (I never did find out for sure) I had to replace the clutch master cylinder. That solved the problem.

hopefully it's under warranty. it's not bad driving because i know how to drive and if it's sticking it's not something i'm doing on purpose.

Didn'tsay it was. I can't be absolutely sure, but it sure sounds like a hydro-mechanical failure to me, Jen.

You seemed a bit sensitive about it so I just wanted to reassureyou...
As I'd said, clutchmaster or clutch slave would be my best guess. If neither of those is the problem, then you may have a broken/weak finger on the pressure plate.... Had that happen on my Honda. But again, w/o seeing or driving the car, I'm only speculating.
