Yeah, a quick look and no one, especially the inexperienced would know. But I fix old pictures, sometimes replacing whole missing pieces for my wife and her geneology hobby, so I know what can be done w/the right skills. Not that I have THAT kind of skill though.

You can see where the rear door was "smudged" out on the convertible, but it's a pretty good job. 'Bet it still took someone a while to do it.
Also, the hatch can't be a coupe. Coupe's have borderless windows. It's a 2-dr (or 3-dr if you prefer) hatchback.

i dont see why we dont have a 2 door hatch.
the focus and mazda3 share alot of parts, and yet, the focus comes in a 2 door hatch, 4 door hatch, wagon, and a 4 door sedan.

btw, i saw an '08 focus the other day. it was uglier than sin.
i think ford wants all of they're cars to have a 'ford fusion' type grill.
you know, the razor blade grill.

I have to agree w/you there, D.I hate the new Ford Family grill (Focus/Fusion/Taurus.) To me itjust looks stogy, not attractive at all.
I hope SST didn't have a hand in that one?

I've got the seats....and let me tell you the interior is 1000% improved from the outgoing Focus.

I wish we had 17" wheels available (16" is the largest available), but I've seen some with aftermarket goodies on them and they look great. Mileage is around 35 mpg and you can get Sync (new hands free connectivity tool) I'll probably get one in a couple of years as a commuter car.

Yup. Read a recent article about that in R&T.
