Default My RX-7 Accident

Well, i'd hate to say it, but my RX-7 was just rearended... Here are the damage pics:
He kinked my exhaust downward, and ripped my Rear Bumper.
The guy is 100% at fault since i was stopped.

Sorry to hear about the accident droptop. Sucks to have your ride damaged by someone else being careless and not paying attention to what they were doing.

That really sucks. It's not too shabby. But maybe now you can get a new bumper and an exhaust through his insurance company.

i believe most insurance agencies will only reimburse you for the stock parts that came with your vehicle. thus your bumper and exhaust will only be paid for as if it were the stock price, not your aftermarket price that you paid for. let me know if i am wrong or you are lucky. and i feel for you buddy, my girl just had her new car rear-ended last week by some dude who was looking at a map and not seeing my girl stopped at a red light. hmmm...so long as you can prove that you had performance parts, they are responsible for the damage done, not just stock replacement, in my experiences. any insurance company that tries to only pay for stock parts, DONT accept it...send your insurance company after them!

Yeah, as far as I know, the insurance company has to replace the part that was damaged. Usually aftermarket parts are cheaper than stock parts anyway. When my Toyota Solara was hit, the insurance guy just looked over the damages and sent me a check for how much he estimated it would cost to fix. I also had a $500 deductible. So, they gave me a check for about $280. I never got the dent fixed either.
