Default Mazda 5 Accident

Last month my wife was involved in a car accident with her M5. She was side swiped by a semi. The van has been in the shop for 32+ days and counting. They claim parts are almost impossible to find for the 5. We live in central Florida so I think they should have a large pool of vendors to pull from. Just wondering if anyone has run into problems with the exterior parts on the 5.

We have an 06

Have you tried calling other shops? 32 days is excessive.

Well I got it back this morning... it was a total of 41 days. They still need to install the decals that go around the door frames and a trim peice that goes on the corner of the hood and windsheld. I noticed the shipping invoinces from MazdaUk and Japan so i guess they ordered parts from over seas. Glad its back though.

The 5 is made overseas, so there aren't large #'s of domestic supplies available.
