Lightbulb Mazda 6 FWD to AWD

So lately I had this idea from a mate who's doing an AWD conversion to his civic, AWD conversion from FWD.
Since there already exists the model, the MPS, I was wondering if someone already this, would appreciate some info, some steps, parts, etc. As a futhure question, maybe there is another option, that is not MPS, with a 4x4. I found a wagon model that was typed as a AWD, a 2.5L turbo Wagon, but maybe there is someone knowing exaclty or owning this kind of model?
Didn't really found a thread with the same subject, so it would be an interesting project.

For the documentation, if there is someone owning an MPS with a photo of the beneath of the car, would appreciate a share so I could get an idea of what I need to do for the conversion.

Any help is welcome!

You would need to completely cut out and modify the floor plan to accommodate the drive shaft and rear differential.

You can buy AWD versions from japan, 1st 2nd & 3rd Gen models.
