Default Ford Zooms Past Competition in Quality

The five vehicles awarded were the Ford Mustang, Lincoln Mark LT, Lincoln MKZ, Mazda MX-5 Miata and Mercury Milan. There are a total of 19 categories.

In all, Ford earned 14 Top 3 finishes, beating all the competitors in the survey and taking the lead from last year's winner, Toyota. The Japanese automaker earned only four Top 3 finishes, down from 11 last year.

I, as a domestic car maker, am a FORD man. I have owned several, and have owned only 1 GM car, and it will be the last I ever own. It seems like FORD has woke up and realized what needs to be done to be competitive, good for them.

Yeah the Mx-5s are solid. no interior piece gaps or any crap like that. Our 04 Mustang is crap and nothing lines up, I gues sford is solid now. If you sit in one at a dealership everything seems less hollow and cheap so yeah I think they're learning.
