Default DIY car air freshers

A homemade air freshener will save you money, and you'll feel better about your trips knowing you made it yourself. Another advantage of producing your own automobile air freshener is you could avoid buying artificial perfumes, which can create health concerns over time. You can try one of these air freshener DIYs to bring something new into your car, while also avoiding the use of store-bought air fresheners.

1. Wooden DIY Car Freshener
You'll need the following items:
- A thin piece of wood, preferably an old ornament
- Ties
- Stress-Relieving essential oil
- Small Dish
- Paintbrush
- Ziploc Bag (Sandwich Size)
Now, follow these steps:
- Pour a small dish with a sufficient amount of essential oil.
- Apply your essential oil of choice on the wooden ornament using a paintbrush.
- Place your wooden ornament in the Ziploc bag to allow the oil to permeate completely.

2. Air-Fresher Bottle for Cars
Now follow these steps:
- 5 mL vodka or alcohol
- 5 milliliters of essential oil
What to do:
- Remove the little plastic stopper below the cap from the air freshener container.
- Fill the bottle with alcohol. About a half of it should be filled with alcohol.
- Add your essential oil of choice to the remainder of the bottle.
- Remove the stopper and replace the wooden cap on the bottle. Wet its cap with the essential oil and alcohol combination by tipping the bottle over.
- Hang this bottle on your car's rear view mirror.

3. Car Air-Freshener with Lavender buds
What you'll need:
- Approximately 1 tablespoon dried lavender buds
- 3x3-inch fabric: 2 pieces
- Scissors
- Sewing needle
- Sewing thread

Directions:
- Using fabric scraps, cut two equally shaped squares.
- Sew the fabric pieces together with running stitches.
- Fill the pack you just sewed with dried lavender buds before sewing the pack closed.
- Create a loop to hang your air fresher pack with.
