Default Current Gen Mazda2 Sighting?! Has anyone else seen one?

Hello!

So I am new to these forums, and I joined for one reason... I saw a current gen Mazda2 Hatchback (2015+) driving the streets of Rochester, MN while I was in the area today. I wish I wasn't driving when I saw it, or I would've taken a picture. It was red, had the LED daytime running lights, and looked awesome for a smaller car. I will say 100% that it said Mazda2 on the back hatch and it had the SkyActiv badge as well. As far as I know, these cars were not sold in North America, but maybe someone knows something that I don't. Has anyone else seen one of these cars driving the streets? If so, let me know!

I realize this is 2 years late but what the heck.

The current Mazda 2 is sold in the US as the Toyota Yaris Sedan and soon as the 2020 Yaris hatchback. It has been available as the Yaris iA and Scion iA since 2016.

I understand that you can legally get a real Mazda2 in the US by buying through a Puerto Rico dealer and having it shipped to the mainland. PR, as part of the US, has the same safety standards as the rest of the US so they are fully legal in the States.

If it had a larger engine, I would have considered looking into this further. I love our Scion iA but need more power.
