hi ,as you can see ive just joined ,i have a mazda 6 takuya 2.2 diesel 2012.
i owned one of the very 1st mazda 6 (MK 1) for three years and then went 4x4 ,now gone back to a 6 .what a difference a few years make .
love the car so far ,only had it 3 weeeks. think this could be a long term "relationship".only thing so far is there does not seem to much in the way of add on bits ,maybe im not looking in the correct places

No, there really is little (if anything) out there for the 2wnd gen 6 series cars. In fact it seems Mazda has put the 2nd gen 6's on a back burner while they upgrade or replace the rest of the line-up. And the aftermarket has not taken to them at all either.
My interpretation is that they feel it is a mid-level family car who's owners would not be interesting in doing anything to it except be the family hauler.
That said, they are still a very nice car, just not very sporty.
