does anyone know how a bov sounds on a speed6. i havent heard it yet so needed some info. thanx

 

the sound depends on what kind of BOV your using the sound dosent change from car to car

 

right...with something like a recirculating BOV, which captures the released gas and inputs it into the system, there will be very little noise...these are the kinds that youll find on cars such as the Evo9, which uses a mass air flow sensor...

however, some cars can you an atmospheric bov, which releases the gases into the air....these are the ones which make the hissing sound, and some, like the TurboXs RFL, are made to create more sound, and they can be identified by the trumpet like shape.
