Hello! I’ve owned my 2011 Mazda 3 Hatchback for about 2 years. A week ago I wrecked it. I’ve attached photos.
I’ve went through so many options. I believe I want to try to rebuild it (possibly from a salvage Mazda). However, I’m lacking in the car knowledge. Just looking for people to shoot around their opinions. Fix it up better than ever? Call her done and don’t “throw away” the money? In all her pre-wreck glory
I am sure you already looked into and have found out the parts alone are likely 1/4 or more what the MAZDA is worth. And that is without basic fining body work and painting. And some of the damaged area's needs a professional to repair or replace the damage. Not really a DIY thing and requires buying special tools.
Sometimes it just better to let it go. Garages are filled with good intention projects sitting for years.

Callisto is spot on. I'd salvage what you can, like wheels and part out the rest or just let it go as is.
When my friend wrote off my new GTX familia (airbourne into a tree) after 2 weeks of ownership I basically bought a running shell for 200 bucks that had a running engine but nothing else and basically transferred all my parts to it lol so had a running car a week after the crash. Also word of advice, Never Ever cheap out on Suspension, brakes and Tyres. I can tell by your tread pattern those are very cheap tyres. Those kinds of things if working correctly can save you from a crash. I always put money into those 3 components before any engine upgrades.Safety First.
