Default 2009 Mazda 5 won't start

So long story short my fiance put a fake diamond ring over ignition switch so the anti theft was locking me out of the system I had a older locksmith came over figured it was that so I got it to turn over the light went away now it won't crank. So I was thinking it was the starter so replaced that and seems like it turned over more then before but then it blew my terminal fuse. Any ideas on what would be my next step trying get this fixed before I move next month or 2 just don't want put a bunch of money getting it towed to dealership any help would be much appreciated 👍

Cars need 3 things to start, fuel, air, spark. Troubleshoot each one. Is fuel getting in? Is spark occuring? Invest in a multimeter and learn how to use it. Heaps of youtube videos out there that will get you going. One thing to check is that your timing belt hasnt snapped so open the oil cap and turn the engine over. If you dont see movement then your timing belt is goneskies. FYI im not a mechanic.
