The 2014 CX5. GT is 3+ months old with 2200 miles and today while detailing the dash and interior I discover only half of the speakers are working.
After reading the thread about the problems with the sound / voice recog I never thought that only half of the Bose speakers were active. The cabin is filled with sound. I have a service appointment next Tuesday and I'll report what the dealer discovers and how it gets corrected.
I was hoping for a " bug free" CX5. We love the car and driving it is great fun especially when the road gets a bit twisty. 😊

 

Curious what speakers are not working? I have noticed most of the vocal sound comes from the speakers by the windshield. The door speakers which have huge grills do not put out much if any sound at low volume. When I cranked up the volume the door speakers sound like bass sub woofers as they move air but not much if any vocals. I think the sound is fairly good with a CD playing but average with the radio. I certainly don't get that surround sound feeling like I thought Bose speakers would provide. Keep us updated on what they find.
