Hi all my name is michael 30yo from suriname ( south america ) i have a mazda protege5 4wd year 2001 and need some advise hw 2 make my car a little faster.dont wanna go 4 a turbo yet.

try checking into a performance upgrade chip for the computer it will not be cheap that i know of but with that cpu upgrade it should boost ur power and performance without getting a turbo installed

 

There are many things you can do:

chipset
new filter/intake
exhaust
fuel injectors/fuel pump
forged internals (not really usefull without a turbo but makes the car more reliable)
suspension
brakes
wider wheels/tires
light body pannels
remove interior pieces
flywheel
gearboox
differential
